Asset Searches

Asset searches provide a financial view on an individual and/or business, and are used in a variety of situations, such as collecting on a debt or judgment, due diligence, divorce, or child support situations. When the asset search is performed is also crucial, as they can be transferred at or around the same time as a court proceeding is occurring.

As private investigators, we have access to several databases that can assist with performing these types of investigations. It is important to note, these databases barely scratch the surface when it comes to performing accurate and thorough asset searches.

Asset search investigations can also include employment and bank searches, and can sometimes require feet on the ground. Not all assets can be found through research.

Traditionally, our asset searches are comprised of the following, but can include more specific information to meet the needs of our clients:

  • Real or Personal Property
  • Motor Vehicles, Aircraft and Watercraft
  • Ownership or interests in businesses
  • Judgments, Liens, Bankruptcies

All searches are conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Gramm-Leach-Bilely Act (GLBA) financial privacy laws.
